Light colors and prints were the most popular features in summer fashion. And the trends look very similar for the autumn-winter 2009/2010. There are no many changes, although the collections have new adaptations to the cold. Let's take a quick look at the Tommy Hilfiger Autumn-Winter collection. It seems to be that the next autumn-winter will be full of checkered styles in most of the garments, especially in pants and sweaters.

No doubt, another element that will gain significance and prominence is... the collar, especially in cardigans and sweaters. Gaberdines are another garment to keep it in mind in the last months of this year. There are all kind of sweaters for the cold season: knitted and solid sweaters made of different fabrics... The only common feature to all these sweaters is the collar style (necks) with an important trend to use turtlenecks or roll necks.

Lastly, more sober and elegant coats with darker colors, with a few buttons on them and a more classic style. From time to time, we can see some remarkable coats on fashion runways, which catch the attention of fashionistas, not only for their style,  but also because they are shorter than usual. They look more like American jackets. Anyway, we think the gaberdines look really good when are combined with some pants. And by the way, now the pants are not so tight, but they are wider, which is something that makes the person feel more comfortable.
